Story
The Equalizer 2 is a 2018 American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk. It is a sequel to the 2014 film The Equalizer, and stars Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, a retired black ops assassin who comes out of hiding to help a young woman named Grace (Chloë Grace Moretz) who is being hunted by Russian gangsters. The film begins with McCall living a quiet life in Boston. He works as a driver for a Lyft-like service and spends his free time helping people in need. One day, he meets Grace, a young woman who is being forced to work as a prostitute for a Russian crime boss. McCall agrees to help Grace escape, and he soon finds himself back in the world of violence and danger.
