Story
The Expendables is a 2010 American action film written by David Callaham and Sylvester Stallone, and directed by Stallone. It is the first installment in The Expendables film series. The film stars Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, and Bruce Willis. The film follows a group of elite mercenaries led by Barney Ross (Stallone), who are hired to overthrow a ruthless dictator in South America. The team includes Lee Christmas (Statham), a skilled martial artist; Gunner Jensen (Lundgren), a weapons specialist; Hale Caesar (Crews), a former Navy SEAL; and Toll Road (Austin), a demolitions expert.
