The Expendables 2
Story
The Expendables 2 is a 2012 American action film directed by Simon West and written by Richard Wenk and Sylvester Stallone. It is the sequel to 2010's The Expendables and the second installment in The Expendables film series. The film stars Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film's plot follows Barney Ross (Stallone) and his team of mercenaries as they are hired by the CIA to infiltrate a prison in Vilena, a fictional country in South America, and rescue a political prisoner. However, the mission goes awry when they are forced to fight their way through a heavily guarded compound.
