Story
Toy Story is a 1995 American computer-animated buddy comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. The film was the first feature-length film completely computer-animated, as well as the first fully computer-animated film produced by a major Hollywood studio. The film was directed by John Lasseter, who co-directed it with Pete Docter, and produced by Bonnie Arnold. The film's screenplay was written by Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow. The film stars the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Jim Varney, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Annie Potts, Meg Ryan, and Laurie Metcalf. The film takes place in a world where toys come to life when humans are not present. The story follows a group of toys who belong to a young boy named Andy Davis. The toys' leader is Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll. When Andy's parents give him a new space ranger action figure named Buzz Lightyear for his birthday, Woody becomes jealous and accidentally knocks Buzz out of the window. Woody and Buzz must then work together to get back to Andy before he moves to a new house.
