Story
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is an upcoming American post-apocalyptic horror television series developed for AMC by Scott M. Gimple, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. It is the sixth spin-off series and the overall ninth television series in The Walking Dead franchise. The series stars Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira as Rick Grimes and Michonne Hawthorne, respectively. The series is set years after the conclusion of the original The Walking Dead series, with Lincoln, Gurira, and Pollyanna McIntosh reprising their roles. The Ones Who Live follows Rick and Michonne as they attempt to find each other and who they were in a changed world. Without each other, are they even alive -- or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead? The series is produced by AMC Studios in association with Gimple's Valhalla Entertainment and Circle of Confusion. Gimple serves as showrunner for the series, with Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth, Brian Bockrath, and Greg Nicotero serving as executive producers.
